Walking from the bus or train station
Walk past the clock tower and cut through between the two shops (Peacock’s and SemiChem) onto Shore Street. You will see the Premier Inn on your right, John Anderson House is the next building.
Walking from the ferry terminal
Walk towards Oban harbour, past the Green Shack and Wetherspoons, carry on past the shops on your right and then as you walk around the corner you’ll see the clock tower. Follow the directions as above from here.
Driving into Oban
In the car, approach Argyll Square (roundabout in the centre of Oban) take the exit for Albany Street. Travel along Albany Street, past the police station and take the first sharp right onto Shore Street, which runs parallel to Albany Street. First left and then immediately right into the car parking for John Anderson House. Look out for the sign that says “Private Parking Island View” in the third bay along from the entrance.
Driving from the ferry terminal
Exit the terminal, turn left follow the road round which becomes Shore Street. Take your first left and immediate right then follow instructions above for parking.
